Hi, EyeEm Yuki
This week’s feature on Hi EyeEm is Yuki (aka Tubo Anko)! She’s a Japanese foodie that enjoys documenting all the various types of food she eats. We’ve never seen such a vast collection of food in our life and have had hunger attacks several times while looking at her stream. If it’s true that you are what you eat, Yuki must be the sweetest person on Earth! Check out the rest of her photos...

The Girl Who Liked Hats
Yesterday we came across a beautiful project that we want to share with you. Gordon Fraser took a series of portraits of his mum in all her hats. But what makes this special is that she was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s over a year ago and when she saw the hats again, it triggered something and she became quite animated. We look forward to seeing the final result of this series, but so far the test...

Hello Once Magazine!
The Hunt: a story on the inhabitants of Qeqertarsuag Island in Greenland | Photo by Andrea Gjestvang We’d like to draw your attention to a neat publication called Once Magazine; an iPad only monthly publication that takes photo essays to a whole new level. You’ve probably heard of photo essays before: a set of photographs, often accompanied by small captions or text essays, that puts the...

A Night of Street Art!
Wow! Where do we start?! Thanks so much to everybody who came to our party. It went above and beyond all our expectations! This was the biggest projection we’ve ever done and the pictures looked so crisp and clear. We were truly overwhelmed. It’s just incredible when the images we are so familiar with from our small screens are suddenly transformed to massive images on a wall. The highlights...

Happy Birthday Louis!
Boulevard du Temple by Louis Daguerre on EyeEm Born on the 18th of November 1797, Louis-Jacques-Mandé Daguerre would be celebrating his 224th birthday today if he was still alive. Being one of the inventors of photography, what he created changed history and will last for centuries to come. Together with fellow Frenchman Nicéphore Niépce, who produced the first ever photograph in a camera...

Hi, EyeEm Kevin Thornhill
Welcome to the latest edition of Hi, EyeEm featuring Kevin Thornhill. He’s born and raised in London and enjoys shooting life on the streets. Kevin is a firm believer that it’s more about the moment than the quality of the image and that it’s better to catch something rather than nothing at all. We had a little chat with him to learn more about his thoughts on mobile photography.

It's the Middle of Movember!
How’s your Movember going? We think this cause is brilliant because it raises much needed funds and awareness for men’s health, specifically prostate cancer and other cancers that affect men. Just in 2010 over 64,500 people all over the world got involved and raised $7.5 million USD. That’s well impressive! Even Stephen Fry approves. We’d love to see how your progress is...
