A Day in the Life of Rich Thane
“A Day in the Life of…” is a feature about nice and interesting people. Through the means of (mobile) photography they are sharing one day in their lifes with us.
We finally tracked down our favorite (honorary) Scandinavian Rich Thane to give us a peek into his life. He took these photos on Thursday November 24th in London. Here’s what he says:
Who is Rich?
Hi - my name is Rich and I’m the editor of the UK based music site The Line Of Best Fit and the recently launched sister site Ja Ja Ja: A Nordic Affair. Seeing as that I spend the majority of any given day locked to my phone (usually on twitter - it’s an addiction that I’m thinking of seeking help for), it seemed like a pretty nice idea to document ‘a day in the life’ although, it became apparent pretty quickly that any given day is pretty dull scenery wise… Train stations….. Offices…… You get the idea.
Luckily, on the chosen day - Thursday 24th November - I was celebrating two years since we launched the Ja Ja Ja Club Night in London. It’s a night celebrating the very best in new Nordic music. We book three bands, most of which have never set foot on UK soil before, and month after month they wow a few hundred Londoners. It’s a busy night for me so remembering to take photos wasn’t always at the forefront of my mind but hey, I did my best. So, without further adue, welcome to my day.
